More than 180 students at Baitul Hikmah study and board free of charge through the Lillah fund. Orphan students are supported from the Zakat fund with tuition, meals, clothes and books.
Who can apply
- Orphan students (father has passed away)
- Students from families who cannot pay the boarding fee
- Hifz students recommended by their local imam
Applications are made at admission with a letter from the local imam or union parishad member. The madrasa committee reviews every case.
How you can help
Your Zakat, Sadaqah and Lillah donations go directly to students' food, boarding and books.
- At the office: you will receive a donation receipt for every gift.
- bKash: send to 01711-000000 and write Lillah or Zakat as the reference.
- Sponsor a student: ৳3,500 covers one boarder's meals and boarding for a month.
